Minimum criteria for establishing GRADE centers<\/b><\/div>\n

The mission of a GRADE center would be:<\/strong>
\n  a) To teach and train in the use of GRADE
\n  b) To support those requiring support
\n  c) To contribute to the further development of GRADE<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Adequate involvement in GRADE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
  a)<\/td>\nCenter leaders should have attended GRADE meetings.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n

2. Adequate training methods<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
  a)\n<\/td>\nCandidate GRADE centers need to ensure that they have adequate capacity to perform GRADE tasks. This can be achieved by having experienced GRADE members spend time at the site and help training others.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
  b)<\/td>\nGRADE centers need to ensure that they are up to date with GRADE methods.
\nAttendance at GRADE meetings, obtaining updates are critical.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n

3. Adequate capacity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
  a)<\/td>\nCandidate GRADE centers need to have a minimum number of staff (suggested 3) who dedicate a large part of their time to GRADE activities<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

4. Adequate dedication to training<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
  a)\n<\/td>\nCandidate GRADE centers should provide or contribute to workshops to train in GRADE methods.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

5. Adequate financial support and sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
  a)<\/td>\nCandidate GRADE centers need to have dedicated funding (direct or indirect)
