JCE は 「GRADE Notes」 と呼ばれる新しいシリーズを導入しました。

GRADEガイダンスとコンセプト論文は、論文の草稿作成、GRADE Working Groupでの発表、改訂、 GRADE Working Groupメンバーによる投票というプロセスを経て、GRADE Working Groupで正式に承認されたものです。

一方、新しいGRADE Notesシリーズの論文は、GRADEユーザーにGRADEを使った実践的な問題や経験について議論する場を提供するものです。 これらの論文は、GRADEの実際の適用についての洞察を提供するものであり、GRADEガイダンスやコンセプト論文につながる場合もあれば、そうでない場合もあります。

GRADE Notesシリーズの代表的なものが、エビデンスの確実性の3段階等級ダウンを記載した、以下のものです。

Piggott T, Morgan RL, Cuello-Garcia CA, Santesso N, Mustafa RA, Meerpohl JJ, et al. Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluations (GRADE) notes: extremely serious, GRADE’s terminology for rating down by three levels. J Clin Epidemiol. 2020 Apr;120:116-120.

GRADE関連論文を読む際には、それぞれの違いを理解しておく必要があります。
 

前回の「GRADE guidelines: 31. Assessing the certainty across a body of evidence for comparative test accuracy」で紹介されている内容を、Stataを使ってメタアナリシスのフォレストプロットを作成し、エビデンスプロファイルをGRADEproで作成したものが以下です。
